Happy 2018! We hope your New Year is off to a great start and you’re getting back into the swing of things after the holiday season. Everyone is buzzing about their New Year resolutions, and of course we are too.
Our New Year Resolution is to GIVE MORE!
Last July we started a community giving project called “Concept Give Back” where each of our agents donates a portion of their commission to the “Concept Give Back” fund. When the “Concept Give Back” fund reaches $1000, there is a drawing to see which agent will get to pick the charity, business or independent cause to support. Last year, we were fortunate enough to give to eight charities. Next year we want to grow “Concept Give Back” and serve 30 different organizations in Sheridan, Wyoming and the surrounding areas.
Why “Concept Give Back”?
Sheridan has a rare and profound sense of community. It’s what attracts non-locals to the area and the reason locals stay (besides word-class fly fishing, recreation in the Big Horn Mountains, and deep roots to our Western heritage, of course). We hope that this program not only benefits the people and organizations that we give to but also inspires other companies and local businesses to think of ways they can give back to the community as well. We love the Sheridan area, are thrilled to be a part of a great community and are motivated to see it thrive!
